Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal watched Haryanvi film ‘Satrangi’ as it was specially screened at his residence here late last evening.
The film, which has won National Award, was the best Haryanvi movie in 63rd National Awards function.
The Chief Minister appreciated the acting of the cast. The film focuses on family values and women empowerment with special emphasis on national programme ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’. The film has been written and directed by Mr Sundeep Sharma and produced by Mrs Punam Deswal Sharma.
Others present on the occasion included Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr Rajesh Khullar, Political Advisor to Chief Minister Mr Jagdish Chopra, OSD to Chief Minister Capt Bhupinder Singh, OSD Mr Neeraj Daftaur, Media Advisor to Chief Minister Mr Amit Arya, Director of film Mr Sundeep Sharma, Producer Mrs. Punam Deswal Sharma and star cast Yashpal Sharma, Nargis Nandal and Sachin Shaukeen.
