CHANDIGARH, MAY 2
The Ministry of Railways has, on request of Haryana Government, sanctioned nine ROBs in the State at a cost of Rs 387.41 crore, without the provision of Toll Plaza.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Public Works (Building and Roads) Department said that these ROBs included LC No. 18B near Pinjore on National Highway-21A (New NH-105) district Panchkula at a cost of Rs 41.09 crore, LC No. 104A near Ambala on NH-72 (New NH-344) at a cost of Rs 40.72 crore, near existing ROB Ambala at Km 1.8 on NH-65 (new NH-152) at cost of Rs 19.51 crore and LC No. 111C near Jind on NH-71 (New NH-352), at a cost of Rs 38.01 crore.
He said that similarly, the other ROBs which have been approved by the Ministry included LC No. 109A near Jind on NH-709A at a cost of Rs 30.09 crore, LC No 35A at Kaithal on NH-152 at a cost of Rs 37.40 crore, LC No. C25 near Jhajjar on NH-334B at a cost of Rs 35.27 crore, LC No. 13 at Pali on NH-11, district Rewari and LC No. C124 at Loharu on NH-709 (Extn.) District Bhiwani.
He said that Haryana Government has constituted a four-member committee under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Rewari to acquire land in favour of State Government for the construction of road and bridges for Railway over Bridge (ROB) from Bawal to Bawal Railway Station road.
He said that this proposal has been approved by Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal.The other members of the committee included Sub-Division Magistrate, Bawal, District Revenue Officer, Rewari and Tehsildar, Bawal. The Committee would submit its report to the government within one month.
He said that the committee would acquire land in favour of State government through negotiations by working out reasonable compensation by following the guidelines and principles for compensation as prescribed under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (RFCTLARR Act), 2013.
The spokesman said that the State Government has accorded administrative approval amounting to Rs 30 crore and the above said work is now included in the Railway Work Programme 2016-17. He said that a small piece of land of area of about 269 square yard has to be acquired for the construction this ROB and the cost would be met from the approved cost of Rs 30 crore.
25 NEW POSTS: The Haryana Government has decided to create 25 new posts of Multi Purpose Health Work (female) for all the 25 newly constructed Sub Health Centres in the State.
While giving this information here today, an official spokesman said that a proposal to this effect has been approved by Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal.
He said that recruitment to these newly created posts would be done through Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
