CHANDIGARH, APRIL 18
The Haryana Government has decided that all B.Ed. colleges to be affiliated with state universities will be as per the territorial jurisdiction of each university.
A Bill to this effect for amendment in the Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind Act, 2014 was approved by the Haryana Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal, here today.
In addition to the above in the meeting held on March 22,2017 under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, it was also decided that all types of colleges in the districts of Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Karnal and Kaithal would be affiliated with Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, whereas all colleges in Rohtak, Gurugram, Jhajjar and Nuh districts would be affiliated with Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak.
Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa would facilitate affiliation of all types of colleges in Sirsa and Fatehabad districts, and Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani, would affiliate all colleges in Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri districts.
All types of colleges in districts Rewari and Mahendergarh would be affiliated with Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur, all types of girls colleges in districts of Sonipat and Panipat will be affiliated with Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidayla, Khanpur. All other co-educational colleges of Sonipat district will be affiliated with MDU, Rohtak, and all other co-educational colleges of Panipat district with Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.
Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind, would facilitate affiliation of all types of colleges in Jind district whereas Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, would affiliate all types of colleges of Hisar district.
Only B.Ed and Engineering colleges of Faridabad and Palwal districts would be affiliated with YMCA, Faridabad, and all other colleges of these two districts would be affiliated with MDU, Rohtak. Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal, Sonipat will facilitate the affiliation of all B.Ed and Engineering colleges only of Panipat and Sonipat districts.
All other co-educational colleges of Sonipat district will be affiliated with MDU, Rohtak, and all other co-educational colleges of Panipat district will be affiliated with Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.
The universities will put in place the required infrastructure and manpower for affiliation purposes.
Necessary amendments in the existing Acts of the concerned universities will be carried by the respective Administrative Department.
