HSSC invite oneline applications for

CHANDIGARH, APRIL 16

 Haryana Staff Selection Commission has invited online applications for 7,110 posts of different categories of Police Department, from April 28 to May 28, 2018 till 11:59 p.m. 

        While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Commission said that these posts included 5,000 posts of male constable (General Duty), 1,147 posts of female constable (General Duty), 500 posts of India Reserve Battalions of Haryana State Male Constable (General Duty), 400 posts of Sub-Inspector (Male) and 63 posts of Sub-Inspector (Female).

        He said that as per the educational qualifications for the posts of male constable (General Duty), female constable (General Duty) and India Reserve Battalions of Haryana State Male Constable (General Duty), the candidate must have passed ten plus two or its equivalent from a recognized education Board or Institution for all the categories. Apart from this, he or she should have studied Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric standard or higher educations. Similarly, the candidate applying for Sub-Inspector (Male) and Sub-Inspector (Female) should have done graduation from any recognized university or its equivalent besides having studied Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric standard or higher educations.

For all categories of posts, the height of male candidates belonging to General Category should be 170 centimetres and chest should be 83 centimetres (un-expanded) to 87 centimetres (expanded). Similarly, for male candidates belonging to reserved categories, height should be I68 centimetres whereas chest should be 81 centimetres (un-expanded) to 85 centimetres (expanded). He said that height of female candidates belonging to General Category should be 158 centimetres and for female candidates belonging to reserved categories, it should be I56 centimetres.
He said that for posts of male constable (General Duty), female constable (General Duty) and India Reserve Battalions of Haryana State Male Constable (General Duty), the male candidates of Haryana belonging to General Category would have pay fee of Rs 100, female candidates of Haryana belonging to General Category would pay Rs 50 and Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes male and female candidates would pay Rs 25 and Rs 13, respectively. Similarly, for posts of Sub-Inspector (Male) and Sub-Inspector (Female), the General Category male and female candidates of Haryana would have to pay Rs 150 and Rs 75, respectively. He said that the male and female candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes would pay Rs 35 and Rs 18, respectively. There would be no charges for the Ex-servicemen candidates of Haryana, he added.

The spokesman said that the selection process would include knowledge test carrying 80 per cent weightage, physical screening test, physical measurement test, and 10 per cent weightage each for additional qualifications and miscellaneous.

He said that the printed copy of online application form with necessary certificates must be brought at the time of scrutiny of documents. No offline application form or copy of downloaded application form will be accepted by the Commission office. Qualifications and eligibility conditions will be determined with regard to last date fixed to closing date of applying online, that is, May 28, 2018. 

Detailed instructions for filling the online application form are available on the website of the Commission www.hssc.gov.in. No Individual information at any stage would be given and hence all candidates should regularly visit the website and public notices in different newspapers.
