Notice for closure of illegal meat shops in Gurugram

CHANDIGARH, APRIL 2
 
 Municipal Corporation, Gurugram today served notices for closure of meat shops being run illegally within the area of municipal limits. 
          While stating this today, a spokesman of Municipal Corporation, Gurugram said that notices have been served to people engaged in sale of meat in an illegal manner at village Narsinghpur, Mohammadpur Jharsa, Khandsa, Sector-46 and Sector-39 and other places in the town. All such people have been asked to shut down their shops or vends within two days otherwise Corporation would take action against them. 
          He said that Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has, in District Public Relations and Grievances Committee meeting held on March 31, ordered that no illegal meat shop would be allowed to run in municipal limit of the town. He also directed the officers to ensure closure of meat shops being run illegally. In compliance of the Chief Minister’s directions, notices have been served to all such shopkeepers with the direction to shut down their shops with in two-days otherwise action as per rules would be taken against them.

MAGISTERIAL INQUIRY: The Kurukshetra district administration has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the death of Mr Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa, a native of Thaska Ali, Ismailabad.
       Disclosing this here today, an official spokesman said that Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Shahabad, will conduct inquiry into what made Mr Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa commit suicide on March 20, 2018.
          Members of the family and relatives of the deceased have alleged that Mr Khalsa committed suicide under suspicious circumstances, and due to unknown reasons. The SDM will conduct the inquiry to know the causes of the suicide, investigate all aspects, and submit report at the earliest, he added.
