The Haryana Government has amended the policy for regularization of existing Nursing Homes running from residential premises and grant of new Nursing Homes, notified earlier.
While stating this here today, Urban Local Bodies Minister, Mrs Kavita Jain said that as per the amendment, the policy for regularization of Nursing Homes would be applicable in the core area, residential zone, industrial zone and public and semi public zone as per the zoning regulation of the development plans. The new permissions for Nursing Homes would be given only in the core area. Outside the core areas, the permission would be given in accordance with change of land use policy and as per zoning regulation of the development plan.
She said that area of the plot size should not be less than 350 square yards for the hyper or high potential zone and 250 square yards for the medium and low potential zone. The maximum upper limit for regularization would be 750 square yards in case of hyper or high potential zone and 300 square yards for medium and low potential zone.
If the area of the site is 350 square yards to 500 square yards, in that case, approach through 9 meter road is required and if the Nursing Home having more than 500 square yards area, then the same need to be shifted to road having width of 12 meter or more, she added.
