Krishan Hooda, Uddayvir, Shashikant and Bhupender enter quarterfinals

 CHANDIGARH, JULY 23

 Playing a consistent game CLTA trainee Krishan Hooda ioutclassed his opponent Yogee Panwar in one sided match 6-0, 6-0 in the boys under-18 singles pre-quarterfinals of the CLTA-AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament at the Sector 10 Tennis Stadium here today.

. Another CLTA trainee Uddayvir Singh did not give any chances to his opponent. He dominated from the first game till the last game as he blanked Sonu Khan 6-0, 6-0. Shashikant Rajput, CLTA Trainee moved into quarters by defeating his opponent Rishi Jalota in straight sets 6-3, 6-0.    

Ajay Singh, Sukhpreet Singh Jhoje and Sarthak Gandhi moved into quarterfinals of boys under-16 singles. In the Boys under-16 singles pre-quarterfinals, In the first set Ajay have a tough time against Samar Bir Singh Sidhu holding serve till 5-5. In the 11 games Ajay got a chance to break his opponent serve and hold his game and win the set 7-5. In the 2^nd set Ajay dominant from the 1^st game break the opponent serve when on to win seond set 6-1. Another CLTA trainee Sarthak Gandhi losing the first set 2-6 came back strongly and win the 2nd set 6-4. In the final set Sarthak cut down his error, make his opponent to do the errors and win the set and match 6-2.   

Kaavya Sawhney, Harleen Kaur and Aditi Singh moved into Quarterfinals of Girls under-18 singles. In the Girls under-18 singles pre-quarterfinals CLTA trainee Kaavya Sawhney is too good for her opponent. Kaavya Sawhney dominate from the 1^st game win 6-1. 

In the second set Kaavya Palani was forced to do errors by Kaavya Sawhney  and win the set 6-0. Harleen Kaur beat Ridhima Mehra in a one sided match. Ridhima cannot match Harleen, she is too good Harleen won the match in straight sets 6-0, 6-1.
