CHANDIGARH, JUNE 4
As many as 67.82 per cent candidates are successful in the
Senior Secondary Semester Examination, March-2012 conducted by Board of
School Education, Haryana and girls outshine boys by showing 17 per
cent more pass percentage than the latter.
While disclosing this today, the Board’s Secretary Mr. D.K.Behra, said
that the result would be declared on June 5. The pass percentage of
private candidates is 59.70.
He
said that 2,54,494 candidates appeared in this examination and 1,72,598
were declared pass. He said that 1,41,170 boys appeared in this
examination and 85,085 boys were declared pass giving a pass percentage
of 60.27 whereas 1,13,324 girls appeared in this examination and 87,513
were declared pass giving a percentage of 77.22. He said that 1,45,971
candidates appeared in Government schools and 1,01,608 were declared
successful giving a pass percentage of 69.60 whereas 1,04,936 candidates
of private schools appeared in the examination and 68,433 candidates
got through it giving a pass percentage of 65.21. He said that 65.18
percent candidates belonging to Urban areas were declared successful
whereas the pass percentage of rural areas turned out to be 70.97.
The Secretary further said that the pass percentage of private
candidates of senior secondary examinations turned out to be 59.70. He
said that 26,603 candidates had appeared in this examination out of
which 15,882 candidates got through it.
Mr. Behra said that the Board had made elaborate arrangements to
provide results to the candidates. He said that on June 5 the result
could be seen on BSNL mobile by SMS and typing HR 12
send to 56666 and to use Helpline facility phone No.
01664-254000 could be dialed. He said that the result could also be
downloaded from the websites - http://bseh.gov.in ,http:// hbse.nic.in , www. indiaresults.com ,www. schools9.com , www. examresults.net ,www. amarujala.com from
9 a.m. onwards on June 5. He said that those candidates who on the
basis of this result, want to appear in September-2012 examinations for
re-appear or additional subject or improvement could send their
examination forms of Rs. 640 without late fee upto June 25. He said
that after this date a late fee of Rs. 100 would be payable upto July
2. Further a late fee of Rs. 300 would be payable upto July 9 and
after this date a late fee of Rs. 1000 would be payable upto July 31.
He said that examination forms would be available at District Level
Co-ordination Centres of the Board, Board headquarters at Bhiwani and
the registered book sellers throughout the State. However, he said that
no forms would be acceptable through courier services in the Board’s
office.
