In collaboration with Career Launcher, Faridabad, YMCA University of Science and Technology, Faridabad organized one-day Campus recruitment Training Programme for III and IV year students of the University to prepare them for the recruitment process.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of Chief Hostel Warden, Dr. Lakhwinder Singh and Programme Coordinator, Mr. Surender Singh.
During the programme, experts from Career Launcher gave useful tips to students to deliver their best in the selection process of various corporates tied up with the University. Communication skills, group discussion, aptitude training and interview techniques were important components of the programme. Students showed their keen interest in participating in the programme and interacted with the experts on various topics.
Dr Lakhwinder Singh said that such training programs help the students to have confidence in their ability to face competition and stand scrutiny by companies, which come to the campus for placements. He said that the University would organize more such programmes in future.
Additional Chief Hostel Warden Lalit Rai, all wardens Suresh Kumar, Manmohan kakkar and Sanjay Kumar were also present on the occasion.
BIOMETRIC ATTENDANCE: Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij today directed that Biometric Attendance System be implemented in all Primary Health Centers, Community Health Centers and District Hospitals in the State within 15 days to ensure presence of doctors.
Taking note of the reports published in a section of the press, Mr Vij also directed the Additional Chief Secretary,Health, Mr P.K. Mahapatra to look into the issue of absence of doctor at Primary Health Centre in Madlauda where a pregnant woman had to spend hours on road as the doctor was not available.
The Health Minister said that Biometric Attendance System would soon be implemented in all hospitals of the state to ensure presence of doctors and paramedical staff. He said that effective measures would be taken to ensure that the people do not face any problem in health institutions, he added.
