With a view to making basic facilities available to those residing in unauthorised colonies, Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, today said that all such colonies in the State would soon be regularised under the prescribed criteria. Apart from this, strict action would be taken against those who are building houses by carving out such colonies.
The Chief Minister was speaking after laying the foundation stone of various development projects costing about Rs 11 crore in Karnal. The Chief Minister said that as per the vision of Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, to provide housing to each family by 2022, houses would be constructed under the Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana. Under this scheme, a policy has been framed to provide affordable housing, he added.While inaugurating the new building of Haryana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI), constructed at a cost of Rs 1.05 crore, he said that the Haryana Government has created a favourable environment for promotion of industries in the State by framing liberal and industry friendly policies. The ‘Happening Haryana Global Investors’ Summit-2016’ is being organised in Gurgaon on March 7 and 8, 2016, to woo investors and project Haryana as a preferred destination for investment, he added.
He also released a telephone-cum-business directory and launched the website of Karnal Food Pack Cluster Limited.
