To impart technical know-how to the farmers,
Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU), Hisar will
organize a series of programmes on vocational training in the disciplines of agriculture,
home science and dairy farming in different districts of the state in June.
While
informing this today, Director Extension Education of the University, Dr. J. S.
Dhankar said that as many as five trainings on fruit and vegetable preservation
would be held at Ambala, Bawal, Panipat, Pali (Sadalpur) and Yamunanagar from June
4 to 6, June 5 to 7, June 25 to 27, June 21 to 22 and June
17 to 21,
respectively. Trainings on vermi compost would be organised at Sirsa
and Jhajjar from June 17 to 22
and June 14 to 16, respectively,
whereas trainings on dairy farming would be held at Kaithal and Mohindergarh
from June 7 to 17 and June
4 to 6 respectively.
He
said that similarly, trainings on nursery raising, detergent making, drafting,
cutting and stitching of garments and value addition of fruits and vegetables
had been scheduled from June 5 to 7
at Bawal, June 10 to 14 at Jind,
June 17 to 22 at Kalwehri
(Karnal) and June 3 to 5 at
Sonipat respectively.
He
said trainings would also be held for rural people on garment construction from
June 17 to 18 at Faridabad, June
12 to 14 at Fatehabad, June 1 to
5 at Kurukshetra and June 14 to
25 at Mandkola.
