Sirsa City to be made slum free

CHANDIGARH, MAY 18
Member of Parliament from Sirsa Dr. Ashok Tanwar said that Sirsa city will be made slum free and for this Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation has approved Rs. 177 crore under the Rajiv Awas Yojna.
          Mr. Tanwar was addressing the gathering after inaugurating Vegetable and Fruit Market constructed at a cost of Rs. 20 lakh at Sirsa today. The market has been constructed under the local Railway Over Bridge and is equipped with all facilities.
          This market is one of its kinds in the country. In the first phase 160 people have been provided space for Rehdis.
