Haryana
Cooperation and Housing Minister, Satpal Sangwan today said that a lump
sum increase of Rs one thousand per month will be made in the salaries
of the employees of Haryana State Cooperative Apex Bank.
This was informed by the Minister here today after holding a meeting with the
Haryana State Cooperative Apex Bank Employees Union. Mr Sangwan said that the employees
protesting for the last two weeks have now expressed satisfaction after the
meeting.
He
said from the month of June, the employees will be given hiked salaries.
Moreover, in case of better recovery, a further increase of Rs 200 to Rs 500
will be made in their salaries, he added.
He
said that a departmental committee will be constituted under the chairmanship
of Registrar, Cooperative Societies for taking up the promotion cases of the
employees. Next action will be taken after the committee submits its report, he
added.
The
Principal Secretary, Cooperation Department, Mrs Shakuntala Jhakhu, Registrar
Cooperative Societies, Mr C. R. Rana, Additional Registrar Cooperative
Societies, Ms Poona Nara and Managing Director HARCO Bank were also present in
the meeting.
