Haryana Government promotes two IPS officers

CHANDIGARH, MAY 22
The Haryana government has promoted two IPS officers to the rank of Additional Director General Police (ADGP) in HAG and five IPS officers to the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and with immediate effect.
Those who have been promoted to the rank of ADGP include Mohammad Akil and Dr.R.C.Mishra. Those who have been promoted in the rank of DIG include Sibhash Kabiraj, Dr.Rajshree Singh, Jagdish Chander, K.Ventaka Ramana and Rajinder Singh.
WISHING DEEPINDER SPEEDY RECOVERY: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that doctors have recommended a minor surgery for his son and Member of Parliament from Rohtak, Mr Deepender Singh Hooda for his speedy recovery.
Mr Hooda has expressed his gratitude towards the people for their support, cooperation, faith and blessings. After getting well, he will start serving the people with double zeal and fervor, he added.REGULARISING STRIKE PERIOD: The Haryana Government has decided to regularize the strike period between January 25 to 27, 2011 of the drivers serving in various government departments , boards and corporation as leave of kind due and no punitive action will be taken against them.
TRANSFER OF LEASE HOLD PLOTS: The Haryana Government has constituted a committee for transfer of lease hold plots to free hold plots in excise area of Ambala Sadar under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary.
While stating this today, an official spokesman said that Addl.Chief Secretary-cum-Financial Commissioner, Revenue, Principal Secretary, Urban Local Bodies and Principal Secretary, Town and Country Planning are the other members of the committee. A meeting of the committee was held on May 21, 2014 during which it was decided that any lease holder, who want to convert lease hold plots into free hold could get it done by depositing appropriate fee. The committee would submit its report to the state government as soon as possible.
