Peaceful re-polling in eight polling booths in Haryana

The re-poll in eight polling booths of district Mewat falling under Gurgaon Parliamentary Constituency remained peaceful. 

  In today’s re-poll, in the lone booth of Punhana assembly segment, the polling was almost equal to the last polls, held on April 10.  Barring three booths of Nuh, the polling percentage has declined. In Nuh, the polling percentage has witnessed slight increase as compared to last polls. In lone booth of Sohna, polling has gone down by almost 7 percent. Similarly, in two booths of Ferozpur Jhirka, the polling percentage remained around 65 % against above 95 % earlier.

          According to the figures of Election department, today 776 votes were polled out of 824 in Booth Number 90 at village Thek, falling in Punhana assembly, which comes out to be 94.17 percent. Earlier, 784 votes were polled which were 95.15 percent.

          In Ferozpur Jhirka Assembly segment, at Booth number 34 of village Banarsi, out of 776 votes 735 were polled at in the re-poll which is 94.71 percent while earlier 742 votes were polled here which was 95.62 %. Similarly at Booth Number 101 of village Neem Khera, out of 1376 votes, 904 were polled today which comes out to be 65.69 % whereas earlier here 1337 votes were polled which was 97.17 %. At Booth Number 166 of village Shahpur, 222 votes were polled out of a total of 336 which is 66.07 % whereas earlier 320 votes were polled here which was 95.24 %.

          In Nuh assembly segment, at Booth Number 44 of village Rahna, 573 votes were polled out of a total of 594 which comes out to be 96.46 % whereas, earlier 566 votes were polled which were 95.29 %. At Booth Number 46 of village Tapkan, 1521 votes were polled out of a total of 1563 votes which is 97.31 %, whereas earlier, here 1510 votes were polled which was 96.61 %. At Booth number 103 of village Majra Bharganva Sundaka, 972 votes were poled out of a total of 1010 which comes out to be 96.23 %, whereas earlier 964 votes were polled which is 95.45 %.

In Sohna Assembly Segment, at Booth Number 126 of village Bawla, 840 votes out of a total of 934 were polled which comes out to be 89.93 %, whereas earlier, 906 vote were polled here which was 97 %.
