'Vision 2030 Document’ released on occasion of Swaran Jayanti

CHANDIGARH, SEPT 27
The Haryana Government plans to release ‘Vision 2030 Document’ on the occasion of Swaran Jayanti of the State on November 1, 2016.
          This was revealed in a meeting on Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Haryana: 2030 held under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Mr D.S.Dhesi here today.
          Mr. D. S. Dhesi directed all Working Groups to prepare workbook of Vision 2030 Document by October 7, 2016.He also asked them to ensure that the goals of sustainable development are achieved in an effective manner. Mr. Dhesi also reviewed the progress so far made by the working groups for preparation of draft of the Vision Document.
          It was informed in the meeting that  initial document ‘Haryana Vision 2030’ which outlines the broad principles has already been sent to NITI Aayog on August 16,2016. The vision document would be prepared keeping in view the social goals   and proposed   SDGs for about 15 years, for the period up to 2030.
          Those present in meeting included Additional Chief Secretary(ACS), Health, Mr Rajan Gupta, ACS, Development  and Panchayats, Mrs. Navraj Sandhu, ACS, Finance and Planning, Mr P. Raghavendra Rao, ACS, School Education, Mr P.K.Das, ACS, Forests and Wild Life, Mr R.R.Jowel, Principal Secretary, Electronics and I.T. Mr. Devender Singh, Principal Secretary, Power, Mr.Vineet Garg and representatives of UN agency.

SWAPING POSTINGS: Haryana Government has ordered that Pradeep Godara, Additional Director (Admn.), Medical College, Nahar in District Mewat  and Mukesh Kumar, Sub Divisional Officer (Civil)-cum-Additional Collector, Nuh will swap their respective places of posting with immediate effect.
 GURGAON BECOMES GURUGRAM: The Central Government has accorded its approval to change the name of Gurgaon as Gurugram.
          This was stated by Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manoghar Lal while interacting with media persons shortly after presiding over the first meeting of the State Level Swarna Jayanti Celebrations Committee   at Panchkula, near here today.
          He said that now both the city as well as the District of Gurgaon would be known as Gurugram.
