CM announces 75.80 cr to develop Ambala City Assembly Constituency

CHANDIGARH, NOV 22
 Haryana Chief Minister  Manohar Lal today announced to give a sum of Rs 75.80 crore for the development of Ambala City Assembly Constituency. He said that Haryana is rapidly advancing to become a top ranked state in terms of development, modern techniques and transparent administration and support of people belonging to all sections of society  is needed in this direction.
        The Chief Minister was addressing the gathering after laying the foundation stones of development projects amounting to Rs 15 crore at Police Lines in Ambala City today.
        On the demand of MLA Ambala, Mr. Aseem Goel, the Chief Minister announced Rs 22.46 crore to redress the problem of flood and drainage of Ambala City, Rs 40 crore to increase the capacity of Civil Hospital Ambala City from 200 beds to 300 beds, Rs 3.50 crore for renovation of Naurang Rai Sarovar, Rs 2.75 crore for reconstruction of rest house of Irrigation Department, Rs 3.50 crore for expansion and beautification of Municipal Park and Rs 3.58 crore for construction of two special sheds in Anaj Mandis of Ambala City and Nanyola.
        Mr. Manohar Lal today laid foundation stones of Gymkhana Club to be set up at a cost of Rs 5.29 crore on 1.25 acres of land in Sector 8 of Ambala City. He also laid foundation stone for different roads to be constructed at a cost of Rs 7.09 crore.
        The Chief Minister assured to  fulfill the long pending demand of bus stand soon and it would be constructed after completion of departmental procedure. Also, he gave assurance for completion of process for reconstruction of Community Health Centre Chodmastpur soon.
