Haryana proposes floating restaurant at Karna Lake

CHANDIGARH, JULY 25
The Haryana Government proposes to set up a floating restaurant at Karna Lake in Karnal. Therefore, the Haryana Tourism Corporation has invited Expression of Interest (EOI) from registered firms, companies or individuals for the setting up and operation of the floating restaurant on license basis for a period of ten years further extendable for five years.
        While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Corporation said that the document can be downloaded from the websitewww.haryanatourism.gov.in or can be collected from Head Office-Haryana Tourism Corporation Limited, SCO 17-19, Sector 17B, Chandigarh.
        He said that the last date for receiving queries was August 2, 2016. The Pre-Bid meeting would be held on August 5 at 3 p.m. at Head Office, Chandigarh. The Bid due date was August 16 up to 3 p.m. The Technical proposals would be opened on the same day at 3:30 p.m., he added.
        The spokesman said that Haryana Tourism Corporation reserves the right to amend or modify EOI documents and to reject any or all proposals without assigning any reason thereof. Amendments or modification, if any, would not be published in the newspapers, but the same would be uploaded on the website www.haryanatourism.gov.in, he added.
 AIR STRIPS TO BE OPERATIONAL: Haryana Civil Aviation Minister, Rao Narbir Singh said that air strips at Bachhod, Bhiwani, Hisar, Karnal and Basaula in district Panchkula would be made operational and more facilities would be provided at these air strips. He said that he would soon meet Union Civil Aviation Minister, Mr. Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju   to accelerate the construction work of international airport in Hisar.
In a statement issued here today, Rao Narbir Singh said that   adventure sports activities like parasailing, gliding and others would be increased at Bachhod. He said that the State Government was making efforts for expansion of air travel facilities in the State. He said that during the Happening Haryana Global Investor Summit held in Gurgaon, investors had shown keen interest in investing in the fields of aviation, defence production and aerospace.
He said that Haryana would celebrate its Golden Jubilee Year this year and efforts were being made to provide better road network and   increase air travel facilities.   
APPLICATIONS INVITED: Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College, Karnal has invited applications from employees of government departments and state universities to fill up 189 posts of Class III and IV in 61 categories  on transfer basis. The applicants can send their applications by August 4, 2016.
        While stating this today, a spokesman of the college said that the government would recruit staff for this new medical college. The candidates selected   from various departments could be absorbed after a fixed period by the medical college. The details of these posts are also available on www.kcgmckarnal.org.
        He said that  those desired to apply, would have to send their brief bio-data, date of recruitment in parent department, date of superannuation,   pay scale and grade pay of the post, academic qualifications, date from which working on the present post, total experience on the post applied for, correspondence address and permanent address along with contact number. The retirement age of non-teaching staff would be 62 years and salary would be protected as per Haryana Government instructions.
