Tree plantation week inaugurated in DPS Pinjore

PANCHKULA, JULY 20
The Delhi Public School campus, Pinjore, echoed with such slogans during the inauguration ceremony of a week long Van Mahotsav celebrations commenced on July 18. An impressive morning assembly depicting the importance of trees was conducted in the school. Poems, songs, speech and skits were presented to spread awareness amongst one and all. A special pledge was taken by everyone to go green, save the environment and arrest pollution”.
The tree plantation drive was flagged off by the school Principal, Mrs. Amita Dhaka. Everyone participated in this drive. Saplings were planted by students and teachers. Special areas for Herbal garden and Kitchen garden were assigned to the children by Dr. (Mrs.) Bimla Arora, Member Management Committee to give them the exposure about the importance of organic gardening. The purpose of this vision is to catch the children young and help them to appreciate and motivate them to save the nature.
