The Haryana Education Department has decided to immediately fill up the vacant posts of school Principals due to retirements, by promoting lecturers.
A spokesman of the Education Department said that the Director Secondary Education has directed Director, State Council of Educational Research and Training, Gurgaon, all District Education Officers, all Principals of District Institutes of Educational and Training (DIETs) and Block Institutes of Teacher Education (BITEs), Director Public Instructions, Chandigarh to send the promotion cases within seven working days. In this, directions have been issued to send the promotion cases of lecturer cadre from Seniority List No. 351 to 400 as on November 7, 2014.
He said that the cases of promotion of lecturers to the post of Principals should be sent with the personal file of the concerned lecturer along with his last ten years ACRs record, No Complaint or No Enquiry certificate duly countersigned by the concerned District Education Officer (DEO), besides summary sheet of the official duly countersigned by Drawing-Disbursing Officer (DDO) and DEO and it is also important to certify whether the concerned official was charge-sheeted under Rule 7/8 or not.
