Lohri was celebrated with great fervor & gaiety at DPS Pinjore on Wednesday. Students organized a colourful cultural programme to mark the occasion. The students presented speeches, poems exhorting the importance of Lohri. A Melodious song in praise of Dulha Bhati was followed by a dance performance. Students and the staff danced around the bonfire and offered rewari, gachak, chirwa, til to 'Agni', the god of fire. The school Principal Ms. Amita Dhaka wished everyone and motivated the students to celebrate such festivals which spread message of love and togetherness in the world.
