CHANDIGARH, SEPT 12
Directorate of Elementary
Education, Haryana has created 5548 posts of middle head, elementary school,
which will be filled up through promotion from Trained Graduate Teachers
(TGTs), Hindi Teachers, Sanskrit Teachers and Punjabi Teachers.
While
stating this here today, a spokesman of the department said that the
Directorate had asked all District Elementary Education Officers, all
Principals of District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) or Government
Elementary Teachers Training Institute and Director School Education, Union
Territory, Chandigarh to submit the cases of eligible teachers for filling up these
posts by September 21, 2012. He said that academic qualifications for
these posts had been decided as per service norms.
The
spokesman said that the candidate should have a minimum qualification of B.A,
B.Sc and two years diploma in elementary education or B.A or B.Sc with at least
50 per cent marks and one year B.Ed or B.A or B.Sc with 45 per cent marks and
one year B.Ed obtained as per the regulations issued by National Teacher
Education Council in this regard or higher secondary or its equivalent with at
least 50 per cent marks and four year B.L.Ed in elementary education or higher
secondary or its equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks and four year
B.A.Ed or B.A or B.Sc with at least 50 per cent marks and one year B.Ed
(special education).
He said that the candidates must have five years
experience as Hindi Teacher or Punjabi Teacher or Sanskrit Teacher or TGT. He
said that as per the reservation policy of the government for these posts, 20
per cent posts have been reserved for the members belonging to Scheduled
Castes.
