The students of
class IV to class VI can take admission in Moti Lal Nehru School of Sports
(MNSS), Rai (Sonipat) for the academic session 2013-14 by November 6, 2012 and
students of class XI by February 28, 2013 without any late fee.
While
stating this today, a spokesman of the School said that 80 per cent seats had
been reserved for Haryana domicile and boys and girls would be admitted in the
ratio of 50:50. For admission in class IV and class VI, the age of the students
should be between eight and ten years as on June 30, 2013.
He said that the students would have to pass two levels of entrance examination
for admission in the school. The students whose name appear in the merit list
would have to sit for the written examination and only successful candidates of
written examination would get admission in the school. He said that the written
examination for class IV and VI would be held on January 20, 2013 at Sirsa,
Hisar, Narnaul, Kurukshetra and Faridabad. On February 24, 2013, physical
examination alongwith sports ability examination would be held. He said that
for class XI, written examination, physical examination and sports ability
examination would be held on April 7, 2013 at MNSS, Rai.
He said that five students would be admitted to class X and class XII on the
basis of tests and trials under outstanding sportspersons category. The
sportspersons should be in the age group of eight to 17 years and should have
participated in junior or senior National level games or should have obtained
first, second and third position in State level competitions.
