Haryana
Institute of Civil Aviation has been awarded the Prestigious Trophy for the
Second Best performing flying academy in India by the Aero Club of India, New
Delhi for flying training achievement in the field of Aviation for the year
2011-2012. The Institute has won this trophy second time, firstly it was
awarded in the year 2008-2009.
While stating this here
today, an official spokesman said that Haryana Institute of Civil Aviation is a
premier flying training academy duly approved by the Director General of Civil
Aviation, Government of India, New Delhi not only in the northern region but
also in the country. Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda Haryana
is holding the charge of Civil Aviation Department and he is also the President
of Haryana Institute of Civil Aviation.
He said that on behalf
of President, Haryana Institute of Civil Aviation Capt. Kamal Kishore,
Executive Director, Haryana Institute of Civil Aviation received the Trophy from
Capt. Satish Sharma, President, Aero Club of India.
He said that
Haryana Institute of Civil Aviation has produced number of pilots who are
working with prestigious Airlines of the country as well as with armed forces
and foreign airlines also.
Additional Chief
Secretary Civil Aviation Department, Mr Ramendra Jakhu is the Vice President of
Haryana Institute of Civil Aviation and Adviser Civil Aviation Haryana, Mr Arun
Kumar is the Chief Executive Director.
