Education Board releases admission schedule for IX to XII classes

CHANDIGARH, MARCH 12
 Haryana Secondary Education Department has released the schedule for admission to Classes IX to XII for academic session of 2016-17.
          While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Department said that a written communication to this effect has been sent to all District Education Officers.
          He said that the advertisement regarding admission of students belonging to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Below Poverty Line (BPL) categories to private recognized schools would be published in leading newspapers latest by March 18, 2016. District and Block Level Committees would be published by March 28, 2016.
          He said that the private recognized schools would display the vacancies on the notice board by March 25, 2016. The applications could be made online or offline and the date of application would be from March 29 to April 8, 2016. Data entry, scrutiny and assessment of the applications would be done from April 9 to April 12, 2016. The school and Block Education Officers (BEO) would publish the lists of applicants by April 12, 2016. The draw of lots would be conducted at Block level on April 18, 2016 which could continue to the next day, if necessary, he added.
          He said that admissions would be made on the basis of draw of lots from April 18 to 25. The second draw of lots for remaining seats would be conducted on April 26, 2016. Admissions on the basis of second draw of lots would be made from April 26 to 29. He said that if seats remain vacant even after second round, the schools would submit their list to District Level Committees before April 30, 2016.  The process of admission in Class XI would be started after the declaration of result of Class X, he added.
          He said that recognition of those schools which would fail to comply with the provisions of Rule 134-A of Haryana School Education Rules 2003, amended in 2013 would be   withdrawal by the Department under the relevant rules on the recommendations of the District Level Committee. Any aggrieved person could submit his complaint either before District Level Committee or Block Level Committee, he added.
