Venod Sharma donates 1.01 cr to CM Relief Fund

CHANDIGARH, MARCH 3
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal was today presented with a cheque of Rs 1.01 crore by former Union Minister Venod Sharma towards the Chief Minister Relief Fund for the relief of those who had suffered during the recent incidents in the State.
DIPLOMA COURSES: Haryana Government has declared the diploma courses of minimum two years duration under the aegis of Department of Technical Education and affiliated to Haryana State Board of Technical Education, Panchkula equivalent to that of 10+2 course of Senior Secondary level awarded by Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani.
          While stating this here today, Technical Education Minister Mr Ram Bilas Sharma said that this would serve the purpose of admission to the under graduate courses where 10+2 qualification is the essential eligibility. He said that a notification to this effect has also been issued by the government.
 DIRECT BUS SERVICE: The  Haryana Government has started a direct bus service from Chandigarh to Khatushyam and Salasar in Rajasthan.
          This was informed by Transport Minister Mr Krishan Lal Pawar while interacting with the media persons here today.
          He said that it would be an ordinary bus of Haryana Roadways and would pass through Panipat, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Kanina, Mahendergarh and Narnaul before reaching Khatushyam and Salasar.
BUDGET SESSION: the ensuing Budget Session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha will commence from March 14, 2016.
           This was informed by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr Ram Bilas Sharma while interacting with the media persons after the meeting of State Cabinet presided over by Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal here today.
ONE IAS OFFICER TRANSFERRED: The  Haryana Government has issued transfer and posting orders of an IAS officer with immediate effect.
        Vineet Garg, Managing Director, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd. has also been posted as Principal Secretary, Power, in addition to his present duties, relieving Nitin Kumar Yadav of the charge of Secretary, Power.
APPELLATE AUTHORITY: The Haryana Government has ordered that Dr. Shilpy Pattar Dutt, General Manager (Administration), Haryana Tourism, Chandigarh would act as first Appellate Authority in place of Ramesh Bhatia, Joint Director, Haryana Tourism, Chandigarh for the matters relating to the Haryana Tourism Corporation under the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005.
          Mr. K.K. Yadav, Chief Engineer, Haryana Tourism Corporation, Chandigarh would also continue to act as first Appellate Authority for the matters relating to the Engineer Cell of Haryana Tourism Corporation under the RTI Act, 2005.
VIRINDER PROMOTED: The Haryana Government has promoted Virinder Sharma, Under Secretary, Financial Commissioner’s Office to the post of Deputy Secretary with immediate effect.
Chandigarh March 3: Haryana Government has promoted Mr Sanjay Yadav, District Fisheries Officer-cum-Chief Executive Officer, Fish Farmers' Development Agency to the post of Deputy Director, Class-I in the pay band of 15600-39100+Grade Pay 5400.
    A proposal to this effect has been approved by Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal.
