Amrinder and Vikram elected CAA president and secretary

CHANDIGARH, JUNE 28 

Amrinder Singh Bajaj and Vikram Singh were unanimously elected president and secretary, respectively, for a four-year term (2016-2020) in the annual general body meeting of the Chandigarh Archery Association held at Bella Vista, Sector 5 in Panchkula.
Founder member and chairman of the Chandigarh Archery Association Ravinder Talwar conducted the proceeding of the house. Dr. Dolly Dahiya Depty. Director Sports of Panjab University, proposed the name of Amrinder Singh Bajaj for the post of president and it was seconded by K.S. Bharti. As no other name was purposed he was unanimously declared elected president.
Sumangla Sharma purposed the name of Vikram Singh for the post of hony. secretary and it was seconded by Dr. Rajesh Dahiya.Vikram Singh was elected unanimously as hony secretary
Madam Upneet Grewal proposed the name of Sanket Sharma as hony. treasurer and it was seconded by Vishal Nagra. In the absence of any other name was proposed Sanket Sharma was elected unanimously. .
Vikram Singh thanked members of all the affiliated units who has participated in the A.G meeting. The services rendered by previous president Deepak Kansal and other office bearers of the association was appreciated by the house..
The house authorised Ravinder Talwar, Amrinder Singh Bajaj and Sanket Sharma to select their new office bearers for the term 2016-2020 in one voice.
Raghuvir Saran, who is a vice president of Chandigarh Olympic Association was the observer from the COA and Ravinder Singh Ladi of Chandigarh Sports Department was the observer of Chandigarh Sports Council.
After a break of 15 minutes Ravinder Talwar announced the other office bearers of the association as follows:
Deepak Kansal (Patron), Ravinder Talawar (Chairman), Dolly Dahiya, Maha Singh, D.R.Yadav (vice-presidents), K.S. Bharti, Rahul (joint secretaries), Amrinder Singh Bajaj (president), Vikram Singh (secretary), Sanket Sharma (treasurer).
Executive Committee: Upneet Grewal, Dr.Rajesh Dahiya,Susheel Kumar, Neelam Puri and Surinder Mahajan.
