The Samvad Society of Haryana Information, Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Department has decided to organize a competition of photographs on different aspects of life and culture of Haryana as well as development of infrastructure.
While giving this information here today, a spokesman of the Samvad Society said that the photographs for the competition could be submitted on different topics including Culture, Tourism of Haryana, Industrial Growth in Haryana, Women Empowerment in Haryana, Life Style in rural and urban areas of Haryana, Emotional depictions like happiness, success, Infrastructure, roads, bridges and building in Haryana, Traditional and modern glimpses of Haryana, Festivals of Haryana and Youth and Sports in Haryana.
He said that anyone could participate in the photography competition except the officials and officers of Samwad Society and Information, Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Department. Apart from this, there would be no limit on number of photographs to be submitted on each topic. He said that the photographs so received would be the property of Samwad and it could use these photographs anywhere at any time. The photographs should be in HD format with caption written on them. There is no age limit and the entrant can be of any nationality. The photographs should be related to Haryana. He said that all the photographs should be in size of 12x15 inches and self attested. He said that the photographs with high resolution should also be sent in CD as jpg file and on e-mail id hrphotocompetition2016@gmail. com. The photographs to be sent should have been captured by the applicant himself and has not been published or telecast earlier.
He said that out of the total entries, the first three best entries would get cash prize of Rs 10,000 each whereas the next five would be given away cash prize of Rs 5000 each. The next eight best would get cash prize of Rs 3000 each and the next ten best entries would get consolation prize of Rs 1000 each.
He said that all entries must accompany the prescribed form and photograph. These should reach the Samwad Office, SCO 23, Sector-7, Madhya Marg, Chandigarh by July 31, 2016 upto 3 p.m. Entries received thereafter would not be entertained, he added.
