A skill centre for training in National Emergency Life Support Course for doctors, nurses and para-medical personnel will be set up at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS), Rohtak, under the ‘Human Resource Development for Emergency Medical Services’.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana Government said that a proposal to this effect has been approved by Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal. He said that a team of Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has already visited the PGIMES, Rohtak and has already approved the project. The Union Ministry would contribute over Rs 2.60 crore as 100 per cent grant to set up this centre.
He said that a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will soon be signed by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Directorate General of Health Services (Emergency Medical Relief) and Director, PGIMS, Rohtak on behalf of the State Government to set up the centre. He said that the Centre would help the State to get services of trained doctors, nurses and para-medical personnel to deal with any emergency life support cases.
He said that while the PGIMS, Rohtak would provide space for the Skill Centre, all infrastructures, equipments including consumable items for the first year would be provided by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. He said that salary of one Course Coordinator for first five years would be borne by the Union Ministry and after five years, it would be borne by the State Government. Also, the recurring expenses from the second year onwards would also have to be borne by the State Government, he added.
FILLING UP 263 POSTS: Haryana Government has decided to fill up 263 posts of Sub-Inspector of Police, including 200 males and 63 females, by direct recruitment through Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has approved a proposal in this regard.
ALM CAUGHT REDHANDED: Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has caught Pawan Kumar, Assistant Line Man (ALM) posted at village Nagpur, Division Ratia in district Fatehabad, red handed while accepting illegal gratification of Rs 4,000 from Harbhajan Singh, a resident of same village in lieu of not sending the electric meter to the laboratory.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Bureau said that a case under sections 7 and 13 of Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered against the accused at Bureau’s Police Station, Hisar.
He said that in another case, Bureau has caught Ajay, Patwari posted at halqa Kulasi in district Jhajjar red handed while accepting illegal gratification of Rs 3,500 from Narender, a resident of village Kulasi, in lieu of mutation of a piece of land which the complainant had purchased.
A case under sections 7 and 13 of Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered against the accused at Bureau’s Police Station, Rohtak.
