Haryana Human
Rights Commission (HHRC) would organise a seminar on Human Rights to sensitize
the Revenue Officers at Gurgaon on August 29.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Commission said that Haryana
Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda would be the Chief Guest and Chairman
of Haryana Human Rights Commission Mr. Justice Virender Jain would preside over
the function.
He said that Haryana Chief Minister would deliver the inaugural address.
The welcome address
would be delivered by Member of HHRC Mr. J.S. Ahlawat. Justice Virender
Jain and Additional Chief Secretary, Haryana Revenue Department Mr. Krishna
Mohan would also address the inaugural session and Judge of Punjab and Haryana
High Court Mr. Justice Nawab Singh, Additional Principal Secretary to Haryana
Chief Minister, Dr. K.K. Khandelwal, Commissioner of Ambala Division, Mrs.
Neelam P. Kasni, Director, Institute for Development and Communication
Chandigarh, Dr. Pramod Kumar and Director General of HIPA Gurgaon, Mr. R. S.
Dalal would speak on role of Revenue Officers in transparent and responsive
administration, good governance and ethics in district administration.
He said that Chairman of HHRC Mr Justice Virender Jain, former State Election
Commissioner of Delhi and Chandigarh Mr. S.P. Marwah, Dr. K.K. Khandelwal and
Commissioner of Gurgaon Division Mr. D.P.S. Nagal will hold a panel discussion
on problems and remedies in implementation of Human Rights in day-to-day
functioning by Revenue Officers and officials. Member of HHRC Mr Justice
H.S. Bhalla would deliver the valedictory address and Secretary of HHRC Mr.
Subhash Goel would present the vote of thanks.
