CHANDIGARH, AUG 27
A 23-member
delegation from Jammu and Kashmir visited Motilal Nehru School of
Sports (MNSS), Rai, district Sonepat in Haryana.
While stating this today, a spokesman of the school said that the trip has been
organized by 23 Rashtriya Rifles (Rajput) under the aegis of “Sadbhavna
Campaign Programme. In this exchange programme the students of Jammu and
Kashmir interacted with the students of MNSS, Rai. It was a great
learning experience for the students of both host as well as guest
school.
The students of Jammu
and Kashmir participated in the annual Cross Country run. He said that
the delegation was escorted to Railway Station, Sonipat for “Save The Girl
Child’ Campaign and covered the entire area of Quchay Quarters, Geeta Bhawan,
Subhash Chowk, under the dynamic leadership of Capt. Tanuj from 23 RR
(Rajput). They also visited Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure
Development Corporation (HSIIDC), Rai and Yakult factory.
He said that previous day; they visited various places in National Dairy
Research Institute (NDRI) including the Milk Plant and learnt about the functioning
of NDRI. Thereafter, the delegation visited places of historical and
educational importance like National Science Centre and Panorama, Shri Krishana
Museum, The Braham Sarovar and various temples surrounding in around, Braham
Sarovar, he added.
