Haryana’s two
police officers have been awarded President’s Police Medal for their
distinguished service and eleven Police personnel including two women
police personnel with Police Medal for their meritorious service on the
occasion of Independence Day 2013.
While stating this
here today, a spokesman of Haryana Police said that Director General of
Police, OSD Rules, Panchkula Mr R. K. Vachher and Additional Director
General of Police, CPT and R Bhondsi, Mr Prabhat Ranjan Deo have been
awarded President’s Police Medal for their distinguished services.
He said that eleven
police personnel who have been awarded Police Medals for meritorious service
included Mr Rajender Singh, Superintendent of Police, Commandant 5th Battalion,
HAP, Mr Devinder Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, CID Hisar,
Mr Surinder Kumar Vats, Deputy Superintendent of Police, L&O, PHQ (H)
Panchkula, Mr Bhagwan Dass, Inspector, Station House Officer, Police
Station City, Hisar, Mr Vijay Pal, Sub Inspector, State Crime Record
Bureau, Madhuban, Mr Pradeep Kumar, Sub Inspector of Police, Personal
Security Officer to Chief Minister, Mr Rakesh Kumar, Assistant Sub
Inspector, office of Assistant Inspector General, Traffic and Highway Karnal,
Mr Vinod Kumar, Assistant Sub Inspector, Reader Deputy Commissioner of
Police, Ambala, Ms Geeta Rani, Assistant Sub Inspector, temporary Duty in
Police Headquarters, Ms Raj Kaur, Assistant Sub Inspector, office of
Inspector General of Police, Telecom, Panchkula and Mr Rati Ram, Assistant Sub
Inspector, Southern Range Rewari.
He said that Director
General of Police Mr. S.N. Vashisht has congratulated all these police
personnel for their distinguished and meritorious services. He hoped that they
would continue to work with same zeal and dedication. He added that these
awards would also inspire other police personnel to work with dedication.
