persons and people.”
The website would have editions of all the magazines brought out by Samvad since 2008 in their original form. “Haryana Samvad” is being circulated to 70,000 panches, sarpanches and opinion makers. The website of the department would be launched soon, Mr Khandelwal added.
Earlier, Mr Anand Mohan Sharan, Director General, Information and Public Relations, briefed the minister about the salient features of the website which would be updated on a regular basis. Also present on the occasion were senior officers of Samvad Society.
The innovative, informative and interactive portal of Samvad will not only open for the people of Haryana the cyber gateway to updated information on the progressive and people-centric policies and programmes, pursued by the state government, but will also enable them to interact with the authorities.
A reservoir of information, the portal will offer media a ready platform to pick up useful information for gainful use. Besides opening a window on the character, composition and the wide array of services offered by Samvad, the portal will seek to serve as a bridge between the net-savvy people of the state and the Haryana Government.

Samvad remains committed to providing communication support to various developmental activities, undertaken by different departments of the Haryana Government, and disseminating value-added information to the media.
This Society came into existence on February 12, 2008 to co-ordinate the publicity and advertising activities of the government, and to cater to the corporate communication requirements of various organizations of the state government.
