HAU starts selling moong and bajra seeds

CHANDIGARH, JULY 6

 Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar has started the sale of moong and bajra seeds.

          While stating this today, a spokesman of the university said that the university has made available breeder and base seed of Basanti variety (MH-125) of moong, breeder, base seed and T.F.L. seed  of MH-318 variety of moong  in 10 kg packing. Similarly,  TFL seeds of Bajra’s  HHB-223 variety are available in three kg packing. He said that MH-318 T.F.L is available at a cost of Rs 950 per packing whereas other varieties of moong seeds are available at a cost of Rs 1000 per packing. H.H.B-223 variety of bajra seeds are available at a cost of Rs 300 per packing, he added.

He said that farmers could buy these seeds at any working day between 7 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on first come first serve basis. Farmers could get information regarding these seeds by contacting at phone number 01662-284323, 01662-289430, 01662-289432 and at helpline number 18001803001, he added.
