Training in preservation of fruits and vegetables

CHANDIGARH, OCT 1
Agriculture Technology and Training Institute of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar will organise a 3-day training on preservation of fruits and vegetables from October 4.
            While stating this today, a spokesman of the University said that this training would be organised to promote small scale industrial units in urban and rural areas so that the prices of fruits and vegetables could be stabilised and unemployed could start their own ventures.
          He said that during training period, the participants would be imparted training about how to prepare various items like jam, jellies, squash, cheese, fruity, sauce, puree and pickles. Also, certificates would be given to the trainees after the training.
