CHANDIGARH, JULY 11
The foundation stone of Hansi-Meham-Rohtak
railway line would now be laid in Hansi, district Hisar on July 28 as decided
by Railways officers in a meeting held with the Member of Parliament, Rohtak
Mr. Deepender Singh Hooda.
Later, Mr Deepender Hooda informed that the foundation stone for six laning of
Hisar-Delhi highway, part of National Highway-10, would also be laid on the
same day. He said that a huge public meeting would also be
organized in Anaj Mandi, Hansi at 11 am on the occasion of foundation laying
ceremony of Rs. 1500 crore mega projects of road and rail in district Hisar on July
28.
He said that Union
Minister of Railways Mr. Mallikarjun Khadge, Union Minister for Transport,
Road and Highways Mr. Oscar Fernandes and Chief Minister Mr. Bhupinder Singh
Hooda would lay the foundation stone of these mega projects which would set up
new dimensions of development not only in Hisar but in the whole State.
He said that the six laning of NH-10 and Hansi-Meham-Rohtak rail line would
open new avenues of industrial development from Delhi to Hisar. As development
has reached Neemrana in Rajasthan through Gurgaon-Sohna and Bawal on GT road
and NH-8, industrial development would reach upto Sirsa in the same manner
through Delhi-Rohtak-Hisar.
