Renu Dabla first woman Mayor of Rohtak MC

 Ms.Renu Dabla has become the first woman Mayor of Municipal Corporation, Rohtak.

Ms.Renu Dabla  has been elected from ward number 4 of the Municipal Corporation, Rohtak. She has been elected Mayor unanimously  in meeting of the councilors held at Rohtak today. The election to the 20 wards of the corporation was held on June 20 and 20 councilors were elected in the election.

The State Election Commission, Haryana has already declared that a women belonging to Scheduled Caste would be the first Mayor of Municipal Corporation, Rohtak. The Commissioner Rohtak Division, Ms.Suprabha Dahiya has been appointed the Returning Officer for the elections of the Mayor. Ms.Dahiya also administered the oath of the office to other elected councilors of the Corporation and there after the process to elect the Mayor was held in which Ms.Renu Dabla got elected as Mayor.
