Account General (A and E) has advised the retiring employees to get their cases
sent six months prior to their retirement to his office so that authorizations
of retiral benefits could be released within a period of 30 days on receipt of
the cases.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that Gross Provident
Fund (GPF) and Loan Accounts statements for the year 2012-13 had been prepared
ahead of prescribed time schedule and disbursed to the representatives of
Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) during the period from June 26 to June
28, 2013 whereas, the remaining had been sent by registered post. He said that
anyone who had not received the statement or noticing any discrepancy therein
or having any query could write to the office of Principal Account General,
Haryana by giving complete details like mobile number, email address etc.
He
said that for the convenience of serving and retired employees, the office had
already started a website aghry.nic.in. He said that status
of GP Fund and loan accounts could be viewed on this website on entering GP
fund account number and personal index number allotted by the office. Also, the
status of GP Fund final payment and pension payment could be viewed. However,
the employees had also been advised in their interest to get their cases sent
six months prior to the retirement for timely finalization. He said that the
department concerned, which have not so far sent pension revision cases for
revision of pensionary benefits effective from January 1, 2006 had been
requested to send the same urgently.
The spokesman said that a new online grievance redressal application had been
developed as per which the grievance could be submitted online by clicking the
heading ‘Submit Complaint’ which gives SMS alert or email response to the
complainant immediately on submission of online complaint and also on its
redressal by the office. The status of the complaint could be viewed by
clicking the heading ‘Check Status’, he added.
