Chief Minister Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda administered Oath of Office and
Secrecy to Brig. (Retd.) Joginder Singh Maan as Chairman of Haryana State
Police Recruitment Board here today.
Brig. Maan was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Rajpinder Maan.
Principal
Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. S.S Dhillon, Deputy Principal Secretary Mr. R.S
Doon, Additional Chief Secretary, Home Mr. S.C Choudhary and OSD Mr. Randhir
Singh were also present on this occasion.
While thanking the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Brig. Maan said
that he would discharge the duty assigned to him with full honesty and in a
fair manner. Fair and transparent system would be followed in the recruitment
process, he added.
He said that it was for the first time when a separate Board has been
constituted for the recruitment of police personnel in the State. Brig. Maan
said that as many as 1347 posts of constable in the category of Ex-servicemen
would be filled up soon in Haryana Police and the requisition has already been
received by the Board in this regard. Advertisement for the same would
also be published soon, he further added.
Brig. Maan who hails from Hisar had also served as Deputy Director General,
Army Recruitment, Ambala Zone from the year 2005 to 2008.
