CHANDIGARH, OCT 31
Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said that the
State Government has decided to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) admissible
to its employees on revised pay scales from 80 to 90 per cent with effect from
July 1,2013.
Mr Hooda greeted the employees of the State on the eve of Haryana Day and said
that as a result of the enhanced DA, they would be benefitted to the tune of Rs
456.84 crore annually.
He said that the DA would be paid in cash to all government employees for the
month of November paid in December 2013. The payment of arrears of enhanced DA
from July 1 to October 2013 would be made in the month of December 2013.
Mr Hooda also reiterated the commitment of the State Government to continue to
implement schemes for the welfare of its employees.
