Keeping in view the annual
seasonal change and requirements of consumers, the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran
Nigam (DHBVN) has changed the schedule of power supply for rural domestic and
agriculture sectors.
While
stating this today, a spokesman of DHBVN said that the villages and tube wells
would continue to get power supply for 14 hours a day and eight hours a day
respectively. The rural domestic supply of electricity would now be daily from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. during night and from 12 noon to 2 p.m. during day. He said that the power supply to agriculture
sector would be given in two groups. Group-I would run from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
and 2 p.m.
to 6 p.m. daily.Group-II
would run from 6 a.m.
to 12 noon and 4 p.m. to 6
p.m. daily, he added.
The
spokesman said that in view of availability of power in the State, the power
utilities have been supplying electricity to all sectors for more duration than
the schedule during this year.
