21 B Tech students of HAU recruited for employment

Chandigarh, June 6 
    As many as 21 students of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU) Hisar, who have completed B.Tech   in Agricultural Engineering stream, have been selected for employment by reputed companies in the campus placement drive.
                 While stating this today, a spokesman of the University said that the campus placement drive has been conducted jointly by College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology and Directorate of Students’ Welfare of the university. The companies  which have offered employment to the student included Swaraj Tractors, TEXMO Industries, DUNCAN Industries,  Agri Impex and Beri Udyog (P) Ltd.  They have selected 21 graduating Agricultural Engineering students of the college. 
        He said that being single college in Haryana that offered B. Tech. degree course in Agricultural Engineering,  almost all students who were not interested in pursuing higher studies, get placements in different agri-engineering based companies. Apart from this, two B.Tech final year students of the college have passed Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) examination of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, while six students have qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), he added.
