Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural
University (CCSHAU), Hisar is all set to conduct state level entrance test for
admission to 6-year B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture course on June 23.
While stating this today, the Registrar of the university, Dr. S. S. Dahiya
said that with a view to facilitate the candidates, elaborate arrangements have
been made by the university. The Vice-Chancellor, Dr. K. S. Khokhar also
reviewed the arrangements.
The university has received a total of 5066 applications as against 50 seats in
the course. He said that the test would be conducted only at Hisar at 12
centres, of which nine would be in the university and remaining three outside
the university.Apart from security arrangements made for smooth conduct
of the examination, special teams would also be deployed at each examination
centre to check impersonation. Also, each candidate will be
photographed at the examination centres, he added.
He said since mobile phones, calculators and electronic diaries are
prohibited in the examination centres, the candidates would have to leave them
at their own risk outside the centre.
Dr. Dahiya has cautioned the candidates that to gain entry into the
examination centre they should not forget to bring along downloaded admit
card with an attested copy of the photograph pasted on it.
