Garg included in editorial board of international journal

 Dr. S. R. Garg, Professor, Department of Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology in Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar has been included in the Editorial Board of the International Journal entitled Microbes and Health.

While stating this today, a spokesman of the university said that the Journal was being published by the Bangladesh Society of Veterinary Microbiology and Public Health. Dr. Garg had been given this honour due to his expertise in the field of Veterinary Public Health. He said that Dr. Garg had coordinated several Rabies Awareness Campaigns for school children, college students, farmers, and rural and urban people. The Global Alliance for Rabies Control (USA) had also commended Dr. Garg’s work several times.

He said that Dr. Garg had been pushing forward the ‘One Health’ concept in this region and organized a Symposium on ‘Interdisciplinary Approach for Tuberculosis Control’ and an Interdisciplinary Workshop on ‘Rabies and its Prevention’. Dr. Garg had published several books and numerous scientific papers.
