Haryana and Delhi Metrol officials meet for rail project

A coordination meeting among the  officials  of Haryana and  Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC)  regarding Mundka of Delhi to Jhajjar Metro Rail Project was held today.  Deputy Commmissioner Jhajjar Mr. Ajit Balaji and DRC of CPM, Mr. Ravi Kapoor participated in the meeting..
          While stating this today, an official spokesman said that in this meeting all the technical points regarding the project were discussed. He said that the length of the railway route from Mundka to Bahadurgarh would be 11.182 kms out of which 4.27 kms would fall in Haryana and 6.307 kms would fall in Delhi. Out of  total cost of about Rs 2000 crore to be spent on this project, Rs788 crore would be spent by Haryana. 
          He said construction of Depot has also been proposed for this rail project.  He said that during the month of August this project was approved at high-level meeting of Empowered Group of Ministers headed by Union Defence Minister, AK Antony.
