Department of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University,
Hisar has forecasted the possibility of partly clouds in next two days.
The maximum temperature is likely to be between 22 and 24 degree Celsius
and minimum between 3 and 6 degree Celsius. Variable winds may prevail.
While
stating this today, a spokesman of the University said that in view of
these weather conditions, the farm scientists of the university have
advised the farmers to use late variety of seeds for sowing wheat. The
excessive moisture may cause 'Ratua' and Alternaria Blight in early
mustard crop so the farmers have been advised to spray pesticides.
He said
that farmers had also been advised to apply light irrigation and
fertilizers as per requirement and save vegetables and fruit plants from
cold weather. They should also give 50 to 100 grams good quality
mixture of minerals per day for better animal productivity.
