Haryana School Education Department has directed the
concerned principals to ensure 100 per cent attendance of students in
IX, XI and XII classes for effective implementation of National
Vocational Education Qualification Framework (NVEQF), recently launched
as a pilot project in 40 schools of Haryana.
While
stating this here today, a spokesman of the Department said that NVEQF,
a pilot project of Government of India, was launched for introducing
vocational courses in secondary or higher secondary schools in nine
districts namely Gurgaon, Faridabad, Mewat, Palwal, Jhajjar, Rohtak,
Fatehabad, Ambala and Yamunanagar.
He
said that for the effective implementation of NVEQF the concerned
principal had been directed to visit vocational education classes once
in a while so as to encourage the students and also enquire about their
concerns if any. Besides, they would also organize monthly meetings of
School Management Development Committee sub groups and ensure enhanced
involvements of the members of the sub groups for the execution of
vocational courses especially when it comes to ensuring participation of
students, field visits, purchase of equipment and construction.
