Haryana Housing Board constructing 10,000 houses/flats

Member Parliament from Rohtak Deepender Singh Hooda said that Housing Board is constructing over 10,000 house and flats in the State at a cost of Rs 500 crore.
          Mr. Hooda was speaking at a function after laying the foundation stone of a residential colony which would be developed by Housing Board at Jind road in Rohtak today. He said that 878 flats would be constructed over an area of 16 acres on Jind road. These would have 686 multi-storey houses of different categories. He said that about Rs 145 crore would be spent on this project.
          Mr. Hooda said that the construction work of houses would start from March 2013. He said that Haryana Government has made a policy for providing houses to families living below poverty line and for this purpose 10,000 plots have been marked.
          Speaking on the occasion Haryana Cooperation and Housing Minister, Mr. Satpal Sangwan said that development of the State has got a new dimension with the farsightedness of Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
          Later as the Chief Guest in Centenary Function of Gaur Brahman Organizations, Mr. Hooda said that Brahman Samaj has always supported Congress. He said that Brahman Samaj has always played a significant role in Congress party like its backbone.
          While gave away aids to physically challenged persons. Mr. Hooda, who is also Vice-Chariman of Indian Red Cross Society, said that efforts were being made to provide aid to disabled persons at block level.
