CHANDIGARH, AUG 9
The Festival of
Janamashtmi was celebrated with great enthusiasm at ISKCON Temple,
Chandigarh.The Hallmarkites Aman Pathak, Tanishq Sharma and Paras Garg
participated in it. Competing against 100 children from various schools of the tricity,
Paras Garg bagged III prize in the Fancy Dress Contest. To make children aware
of the rich mythology of our culture, the Hallmark Public School organized
‘Krishna’s Crown Making Contest’, ‘Pot Making’ and ‘Shloka Chanting Contest’ on
the occasion of ‘Shri Krishna’s Janamashtmi’.
The students gave wings to their
imagination and decorated Krishna’s Crown. Enchanting of Mantras and Shlokas
floated serenity in the air. The Director Mr. Jivtesh Garg and the Principal
Kavita Wadhwa blessed children on the occasion and acquainted them with the
life of Lord Krishna.
