Haryana State Council for Science and Technology (HSCST) has invited nominations for the Haryana Vigyan Ratna Award and Haryana Yuva Vigyan Ratna Award for the year 2011-12.
While stating this today, a spokesman of the Council said that these awards have been instituted to honour eminent scientists, engineers and doctors of the State who have made outstanding contributions in the field of science and technology over the last 10 years.
He said that Haryana Vigyan Ratna Award is given to eminent scientists, engineers or doctors who are above 40 years of age as on February 28, 2012. He said that Haryana Vigyan Ratna Awards carry a
cash prize of Rs two lakh , a citation and a trophy.
He said that Haryana Yuva Vigyan Ratna Award is given to eminent scientists, engineers or doctors of upto 40 years of age as on February 28, 2012. It carries a cash prize of Rs one lakh, a citation and a trophy.
He said that the nominations should reach office of HSCST, Panchkula within one month. For detailed information the applicants could visit the website http://dstharyana.org/html/
